Created for the Wacom "Bring Your Vision to Life" contest. For the good vs. evil theme, I decided to go with a subject a lot of people would recognize: the MMORPG World of Warcraft by Blizzard Entertainment. Here we see a blood elf hunter (without her pet that the moment) getting ready to shoot a sting shot at a human mage. The elf is dressed mostly in red and black, Horde colors, while the mage robe features blue and gold, Alliance colors. I also tried to associate her with a lot of white so as to imply which side, in my opinion, is good and which is evil. However, many players of the game may have a different opinon, based on which faction they play. I find that a lot of players are very passionate about which side they consider to be the good guys, and I can see both sides of the arguement, though I tend to favor the Alliance.
If you are familiar with World of Warcraft, then you may recognize the mage's clothes as a version of the imbued netherweave robe, which is usually purple, but was changed to blue for the reasons stated above. She is also wearing the level 70 pvp shoulders and gloves, and has a staff and crown (floathing abover her head) that can be earned as quest rewards in Outland. The hunter's gear was less specific; much of it is elaborated versions of things actually worn by mail/leather wearers in-game.
The backround is a screenshot from Shadowmoon Valley in Outland, but it has been edited in various ways by me on Photoshop.
